How to edit the deck (in your browser, no code)

The deck has a built-in editor. To change any wording:

Open the deck in your browser (the live URL above, or afrotech-ai-edge-session-02-people-leaders.html locally).
Click Edit Mode in the top-right toolbar.
Click any text on any slide to edit it. Edits auto-save to your browser as you go.
When you’re done, click Download HTML to get the updated file.
Replace the file in this repo with your downloaded version (or send it back to Brandon and he’ll commit it).

Reset clears your local edits and reloads the original. Use it if you want to start over.

Need to redo a slide entirely?

If the in-browser editor isn’t enough — e.g., you need to restructure a slide, change layout, or replace a chart — open the HTML file in any code editor (VS Code is great). Each slide is a <section> with a data-screen-label attribute, easy to find with Cmd-F.

The deck uses:

Geist + Instrument Serif typography (Google Fonts, loaded automatically)
A custom palette: #5b27a8 purple, #d6eb88 lime, #f7f5f0 paper background
The <deck-stage> web component for slide navigation (runtime in assets/js/deck-stage.js)
